Website check: what your website and your email addresses show from the outside.
We look at your website and your email addresses and write down what stands out, with instructions for checking it yourself. We only check what any visitor can see.
What we check
Eight areas, from the technology to the legal notice.
Technology
Whether the site runs on HTTPS throughout, and whether PHP and the CMS are on a version that still receives security updates.
Email senders
Whether SPF and DMARC are set up for every email domain named on your website, and DKIM as far as it can be checked from the outside. This decides whether your emails arrive and whether forged emails in your name are rejected.
Mobile
Whether the site can be read and used on a phone without zooming.
Speed
How long the home page takes on a phone before there is something to read.
Enquiry path
How easily a customer can send you an enquiry, for example with a drawing, the material and the quantity.
Content and freshness
Whether a visitor quickly understands what you offer, and whether dates, news and contact names are up to date.
Findability
Whether page titles, descriptions and your business profile are set up so that you are found when someone in your region searches for what you do.
Legal
Whether the legal notice and privacy policy can be reached from every page, and whether the site loads services that are not named there, such as fonts or maps from Google.
How we check
- What we read
- Only what is public: the DNS records of your domains and the website as any visitor sees it.
- What we do not do
- No scanning of your servers, no logins, no test submissions through your forms.
- With every finding
- Instructions for checking it yourself. You do not have to take our word for anything.
- Your provider
- We do not run down your current agency or IT provider. Securing things can also be done together with them.
Three ways forward after the check
Each step stands on its own. You can stop after any of them.
Secure
We correct the records for your email senders and give you a checklist for the updates, to work through with your provider.
Fixed price, in writing before you commit.
Rebuild
A fast website without plug-ins, hosted in the EU, with an enquiry form that asks for the details you need for a quote. Securing is included. In Luxembourg the rebuild is eligible for funding.
Fixed price, in writing before you commit. Maintenance on request at a fixed monthly amount.
Automate
The enquiry form becomes the assistant: it reads every enquiry, checks it against your data and prepares the quote. Deciding and sending stay with you.
Fixed price per process, in writing before you commit.

Security in the build
What we secure when we build for you.
In the website
- Hosting in the EU
- No plug-ins that can bring their own vulnerabilities
- We install updates for as long as we maintain the site for you
- The records for your email senders are set up: SPF, DKIM and DMARC
In the assistant
- A separate instance of its own on servers in the EU
- Role-based access
- No training with your data
- Every line can be traced back to its source
What we do not offer: penetration tests, certifications or a guarantee against attacks. We tell you what we found, what we closed and what remains open.
Funding
- Companies in Luxembourg: the SME Packages programme of the Ministry of the Economy, handled through the House of Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce and the Chambre des Métiers, covers up to 70 percent for projects between 3,000 and 25,000 euros.
- Companies in Hesse: there is currently no suitable state programme.
We tell you in the conversation what applies to you and prepare the application with you.
Did you receive a letter from us?
You can reach your draft through the QR code or the address in the letter.
We took your postal address from the legal notice on your website.
If you would rather not receive any more post, a single line to rick@digitalace.eu is enough, and we will not write to you again.
What you might still ask
- Why a letter and not a call or an email?
- Because a letter does not interrupt you at work. You read it when it suits you and decide for yourself whether to get in touch. We did not want to send you an email you had not asked for.
- Do we have to change agency?
- No. Your current provider can take care of securing things, with our checklist or together with us. A rebuild only happens if you want one.
- What happens to the draft?
- It stays online for four weeks, at an address that appears only in your letter. Search engines do not find it. After that we delete it.
- What does the check cost?
- Nothing, and it commits you to nothing. The findings are yours, and you can act on them with your current provider too.
Twenty minutes on your findings
We go through the findings with you and tell you which of the three ways suits your company. If none does, we say so.
